Career Prospects

The law provides the opportunity for the top two graduates by grade to be admitted without exams to the Athens School of Fine Arts or to the School of Visual and Applied Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Many graduates of the School are visual artists, sculptors, and painters,  renowned in their field, as well as university teachers in the field of Fine Arts.

The graduates of our School are specialized marble carvers. They have learned to apply traditional methods and tools and have developed a range of skills as a result of their educational journey through the five mandatory courses of the School—all of which are necessary.

The graduates of the School are given priority for employment as Secondary Education Marble Craftsmen at the restorations of monuments by the Ministry of Culture (e.g., Acropolis, Epidaurus, etc.).

Many of our graduates work as freelancers, undertaking marble sculpting/marble craftsmanship projects. Examples of applications include church pieces, pulpits, shrines, bell towers, fountains, lintels, and decorative elements for homes or other public and private buildings. They have the ability to work on anything related to the artistic processing of marble, including the construction of statues. Additionally, many graduates who open marble sculpting workshops follow an artistic path, creating interesting artistic (ίσως και να φύγει αυτή η λέξη) objects.

The degree that the School bestows to the graduates is an unaccredited degree, which is not equivalent to any other degree from the typical educational system of Greece.
